#Alternative to 1password 7 password

Every time I type my password into the desktop app to log in when I start my computer, it would say "sync off - free membership". Third, and lastly, this entire year of 2020, my Dashlane desktop app has not been syncing correctly. Yes, I'm well aware that Dashlane sources their VPN and Credit monitoring services to third party companies, but that's no excuse for unreliable features that I'm paying for. It wouldn't matter if I was choosing the States as the connection or another country, it would not stay connected for more than 30 seconds. That was constantly an issue, to a point where I had to look elsewhere for an actual working VPN.

I am in the States, and the second I click on "connect" in the Dashlane VPN button, it connects but about 15-30 seconds later, it will forcefully disconnect. For me, again, I speak for myself and my own experiences, it has NOT worked at all whatsoever. But I am used to being able to buy something online, then having the Chrome browser extension prompting me and asking me if I would like to save that receipt into Dashlane. If you have bought Dashlane recently, of course, this is not an issue for you.

I relied on that so heavily that I was shocked to find out after an update of the desktop software of Dashlane, that was no longer a feature, and that if I wanted to back up any more receipts in the future, I would manually have to type it into Dashlane and then manually create an entire Dashlane export, to have a "backup" version of my receipts. The first issue I dealt with, was the removal of backing up "receipts".

I am a Mac and iOS user, I do not own Windows or Android, my browser of choice is Chrome. I do not mind one bit paying and supporting a service that fits my need, but as of lately, the features I depend on the most have either been removed or no longer work because of countless bugs. I've been a paid Premium member of Dashlane for 4 years. With that being said, take what I say knowing that this is only "my personal opinion". I am writing this to hope that some people will find it useful in making a decision on which program will work best for their needs.
